In-State Applicants for EMT-Paramedic- (Applies to all graduates of New Mexico training institutions)

 The following documents are required:

* The following are approved CPR courses:

 

·        American Heart Association "BLS Healthcare Provider"

·        American Red Cross "CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer"

·        Emergency Care and Safety Institute “Professional Rescuer CPR”

·        National Safety Council "CPR and AED"

·        Medic First Aid “Basic Life Support for Professionals (BLSPRO)

·        American Safety & Health Institute “CPR for the Professional Rescuer

·        Military Training Network “BLS Healthcare Provider

 

** If you do not yet have NR certification, you may be eligible for a 6-month graduate license until NR is attained.
Submit a copy of your paramedic course completion certificate and a copy of your current EMT-Basic
or EMT-Intermediate license.
Successful completion of the paramedic training program must have been accomplished
within the previous twenty-four months.
You will be issued a 6-month graduate license.
During this time, you must obtain NR certification at the paramedic level.

Failure of any portion of the National Registry exam voids the graduate license.
